Research Associate
Position Description
We are looking for high quality talent to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform in Asia. We are recruiting for Research Associates: full-time and for our 12-week Internship Program (Feb-May and JulySept 2021). Our research teams are typically only two or three professionals; therefore, you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution. As a Research Associate, you will:
· Acquire expertise in your sector working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert
· Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies
· Learn a rigorous level of financial analysis and build complex financial models
· Develop your thought leadership and make significant contributions to our highly differentiated written product
· Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients
Qualifications
Our Research Associates should meet the following criteria:
· Track records of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards. Academic credentials typically include test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above
· Excellent broad-based analytical skills and strong quantitative backgrounds (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level

Institutional Sales Associate
Position Description
We are looking for Institutional Equity Sales Associates to work closely with the existing team in Hong Kong. They will focus on both Long Only and Hedge Fund clients and help continue to build on Bernstein’s strong Asia presence.
We have a structured training program for Sales Associates, where you will:

Electronic Trading Associate
Position Description
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our equity electronic trading desk as a junior electronic sales trader. Our client base consists of investment management institutions such as asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, broker dealers. We provide our clients with trading solutions to help them with their execute equity orders in Asia-Pacific markets, via trading algorithms and portfolio trading.
As part of the team, you will:
· · Monitor client algorithmic trading activity
· · Inform client about trading situations, alert them of issues

· Collate and broadcast company and macro news to clients
· Liaise with middle office to manage booking and settlement of trades
